Pricing Questions

Interior Design Cost Dubai — FAQ

The most common questions we receive about interior design and fit-out pricing in Dubai.

Because hourly rates and percentage-based fees create a misalignment between what is good for the designer and what is good for the client. A fixed fee means RNM's interest is in completing the project efficiently and to standard — not in extending hours or specifying more expensive items. The fixed fee is agreed before work begins and does not change unless you change the scope.

Yes. RNM's design fee includes the production of all DM submission drawings, DEWA schematics, and developer NOC application packages — EMAAR, Nakheel, Meraas. The management of those submissions, including responding to queries and resubmitting if required, is also included. Government fees charged by the authorities themselves are passed through at cost.

RNM's fit-out price includes all civil works, MEP modifications, joinery supply and installation, flooring, ceiling works, painting, and finishes — as specified in the approved design drawings. Authority approvals, as-built drawings, warranties, and a 12-month defects liability period are also included. Furniture, loose items, and appliances are excluded unless specifically included in the agreed scope.

The guide rates on this page give a realistic starting point. For a more meaningful number, share your property size, location, and a brief description of scope via WhatsApp — we can usually give a ballpark range within 24 hours before any formal consultation is scheduled. Message us on WhatsApp.

Yes — but only for genuine additions to the agreed scope, not for design interpretation or contractor errors. If you add a room, change a material after fabrication has begun, or request works not included in the original brief, a variation is raised, costed, and agreed in writing before any additional work proceeds. Everything in the original scope remains at the agreed fixed price.

No. The initial consultation is complimentary — we meet, review the brief, assess the site, and confirm what is achievable. A fixed-fee proposal follows within a few days. There is no obligation to proceed and no charge if you decide not to.
