Bespoke interior design and turnkey fit-out for Palm Jumeirah villas, frond homes, and trunk apartments — with Nakheel NOC managed in-house as standard.
RNM Interiors has delivered over projects on Palm Jumeirah — from Garden Home renovations to full Signature Villa fit-outs. We know Nakheel's requirements, we know the community, and we deliver under one fixed-price contract. See our pricing guide.
Palm Jumeirah is Dubai's most iconic residential address — a man-made island developed by Nakheel comprising frond villas, trunk apartments, and the crescent strip. The community includes Signature Villas, Garden Homes, Frond Villas, Palace Residences, and high-rise apartment towers along the trunk — each with different footprints, specifications, and design opportunities.
Interior design projects on Palm Jumeirah typically involve larger floor areas and higher-specification finishes than equivalent projects elsewhere in Dubai. Outdoor living is central to most briefs — pool surrounds, terraces, covered seating areas, and landscaping interfaces all form part of the design scope. Materials must be selected not just for aesthetics but for performance in the Palm's coastal microclimate — sea air, elevated humidity, and intense direct sunlight require finishes that hold up over time.
RNM has been delivering residential interior design and design and build projects on Palm Jumeirah for over 15 years. Our team understands Nakheel's current NOC requirements, the specific structural constraints of different villa types, and the material performance requirements unique to the Palm environment. Every project is managed in-house — design, approvals, joinery, fit-out, and handover — under one fixed-price contract.
RNM delivers the full range of interior design and fit-out services across Palm Jumeirah — from concept design and Nakheel NOC through to bespoke joinery, full fit-out, and handover.

Layout & Zoning →Any Palm Jumeirah interior project involving structural changes, MEP modifications, or works affecting the villa envelope requires a Nakheel NOC before works commence. RNM manages every step — you never contact Nakheel directly.
RNM reviews your project scope and confirms which elements require Nakheel approval. Cosmetic works — painting, flooring, soft furnishings — typically do not require a NOC. Structural works, MEP changes, external alterations, and pool or landscaping modifications always do.
Our team produces all drawings required for Nakheel submission — floor plans, elevations, MEP schematics, and structural details — formatted to Nakheel's current standards. These are produced as part of the standard design documentation package at no additional cost.
RNM submits the complete NOC application through Nakheel's online portal on your behalf — design drawings, contractor details, project timeline, and all supporting documentation. Client signature may be required on the application form; all other steps are handled by RNM.
Nakheel reviews the submission and issues approval, queries, or rejection. RNM monitors the application daily, responds to any Nakheel queries within 24 hours, and resubmits with revisions if required. Our familiarity with Nakheel's requirements means first-submission approval is our standard outcome.
Once Nakheel issues the NOC, fit-out works commence on site. The original NOC is displayed on site throughout the project as required. Simultaneously, RNM manages any required Dubai Municipality drawings and DEWA approvals that run in parallel with the Nakheel process.
On completion, RNM coordinates and attends any Nakheel completion inspection, manages snagging points raised, and obtains final sign-off. The NOC certificate is included in your handover pack alongside as-built drawings, warranties, and the defects liability period documentation.

Answers to the questions Palm Jumeirah homeowners ask us most often before starting a project.
Yes, for any works involving structural changes, MEP modifications, or alterations to the villa envelope — including changes to external walls, roofs, or pool areas. Cosmetic works such as painting, flooring replacement, and soft furnishings generally do not require a Nakheel NOC. RNM assesses what approvals are needed at the initial consultation and manages all Nakheel submissions in-house.
Typically 2 to 3 weeks from submission to approval for standard residential projects. More complex submissions involving structural or external works can take 4 to 6 weeks. RNM submits complete, correctly formatted applications first time — our first-submission approval rate eliminates the delays caused by incomplete or incorrectly formatted submissions.
Nakheel's design guidelines cover external finishes, roof treatments, structural modifications, MEP systems, and landscaping within the plot. Guidelines vary between property types — Signature Villas, Garden Homes, and Frond Villas each have specific requirements. RNM's design team works within these guidelines from the brief stage, ensuring designs are approvable before submission rather than requiring revisions after.
Pool additions and villa extensions require both a Nakheel NOC and Dubai Municipality approval. Feasibility depends on your specific plot, villa type, and the extent of the proposed works. RNM conducts a feasibility review as part of the initial consultation — we will confirm what is achievable before any design work or fees are committed.
Palm Jumeirah villa interior design typically ranges from AED 300 to AED 550 per m² for full design and fit-out, depending on specification level, joinery complexity, and scope. A 5,000 sq ft Garden Home full fit-out typically ranges from AED 1.4M to AED 2.5M. A fixed-fee proposal is provided after the initial consultation. See our cost guide.
The Palm's coastal microclimate — sea air, elevated humidity, and intense direct sunlight — requires careful material specification. For external and semi-external areas, RNM specifies marine-grade hardware, UV-stable outdoor fabrics, powder-coated aluminium frames, and porcelain or natural stone flooring rated for outdoor coastal use. Internal materials are selected for Dubai's AC environment — climate-stable veneers, moisture-resistant joinery boards, and finishes that perform across temperature cycles.
